These giftable handmade ceramic scented candle jars from our RMC Ceramics brand are wheel thrown in rustic stoneware with white, blue, grey or pink glaze over an unglazed, naked base . Choice of 3 scents (see description at bottom) and 2 sizes in a vegan soy and coconut wax blend, totally unique and a great gift idea. They have a wooden wick for ambience and crackle.
Matching or complementary match pots with strikers and multicoloured matches are also available.
Medium size wax weight is around 200g, and will burn for approximately 30 hours.
Large size wax weight is around 250g and will burn for approximately 40 hours.
All RMC handmade ceramics are made by Ros in her home studio in Bristol, using only stoneware or porcelain clay, making them durable and suitable for everyday use.
Vessels are dishwasher and microwave safe - ONCE EMPTY.
SCENT DESCRIPTION:
Hocus Pocus - top notes of pumpkin, coconut, cassia, middle notes of clove and maple, base notes of oak wood and bourbon. It's a lovely sweet scent, quite autumnal, hints of magic.
Library - top notes of dry tobacco, Baies rose, incense and rock rose with a touch of black pepper. Mid notes of patchouli, vanilla and moss, with base notes of cedarwood, sandalwood, and vetivert. This really does smell like dry old books, in a wonderful way. Subtly floral with a slight gentleman's club vibe.
Honey & Tobacco - top notes of tobacco, honey, spices and citrus fresh, mid notes of wood and sandalwood, base notes of amber, tonka beans, patchouli and honey. Scent name notwithstanding, it's not very tobacco-y. It's a firm favourite at our in-person events and is universally loved. Sweet and spicy.
CANDLE SAFETY:
Before burning, always trim the wick to ¼ inch. Keep the wax pool clear. Always use a candle holder, it should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax. Burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Never burn a candle for longer than three hours, cool for at least two hours before relighting. Never leave a candle unattended, keep it away from anything that can catch fire. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Don't burn a candle all the way down. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, it's the safest way to prevent wax from splattering.
